Hitman 3

IO Interactive’s Hitman 3 is out on January 20th and promises a thunderous conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy that began in 2016 with Hitman. In a new launch trailer, we see many of the game’s gorgeous environments but it’s not long before Agent 47 gets to work, doing what he does best. Check it out below.

Along with traveling to Dubai, Dartmoor and Chongqing, Agent 47 will have his hands full in Mendoza and the Carpathian Mountains. Though several of the trademark killing tools – sniper rifles, knives and so on – are returning, players can also make use of a new Camera tool. New mechanics like Persistent Shortcuts will also encourage players exploring one’s surroundings to make future runs more interesting.

Hitman 3 will release for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia this week. Initially, IO Interactive outlined how purchasing Hitman 2 on the Epic Games Store for PC would be necessary to transfer progress to Hitman 3. This prompted some backlash and the developer has since promised that fans won’t have to re-purchase any of the previous titles.
