Now that Hitman‘s first season has officially come to a close, developer IO Interactive has confirmed there will be a second season. The first season was wrapped up on October 31 with the release of Episode 6.

Hakan Abrak, Studio production director at IO Interactive recently sat down for an interview with Gamergen where he talked about some of the things the company has planned for a Hitman season 2.

The exec said this second season will include new locations and cities as well as more free content. The free content includes even more Elusive Targets and Escalation Missions. In addition to that announcement, the exec was quick to point out just because season one is over, doesn’t mean locations from this season are going to be obsolete. Abrak told the website there’s a chance more free missions could be added to those locations in the coming months.

Hitman is available for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC now.
