Hitman Now Available Physically On PS4, Xbox One, and PC

Hitman has secretly become one of the best games currently available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC- but before the game launched, no one actually thought it would be anything other than a cynical attempt at cashing in on the franchise. The game’s ‘live service’ and episodic model simply did not instil or inspire a lot of confidence or hope in a lot of gamers too accustomed to being exploited for cash at the expense of good design by publishers using similar models.

Of course, happily enough, our fears turned out to be unfounded, and Hitman became one of the best instances of a game as a live service that there is. Over the last year, the game has steadily delivered some of the best stealth action on the market, and it has done this all digitally.

However, if you want to join in on the fun, but want a physical copy for yourself, the good news is that the physical release of Hitman is out today on PS4, Xbox One, and PC- you just have to go into a store and pick it up. Do note that any live content you may have missed, such as Elusive Targets and Escalation Contracts, are not a part of this package- though you should be able to participate in future live content without issues. You can check out a new trailer for Hitman in celebration of this physical release below.
