Anathema – Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
Much has been said about how IO Interactive had to set expectations for its recent Hitman games but the same applies to Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. It was meant to draw players in, expanding on the flawed but intriguing Codename 47. To that end, Anathema succeeded perfectly, tasking Agent 47 with taking out Giuseppe Guillani and rescuing his mentor, then giving numerous tools – from a sniper rifle to a golf club – to do it. It set a fantastic tone for the series to do bigger and better things.
