The bizarre sandbox title finally has a release date.
One of the oddest games to arrive in recent years, Honeyslug’s Hohokum finally has a release date. According to the PlayStation Blog, the indie sandbox title will be arriving on August 13th in Europe for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.
What is the aim of the game? Simply put, exploration and uncovering secrets in a beautifully realized albeit bizarre world. There aren’t any goals or fixed stories as such (though each world has a primary objective and various activities to pursue). You’ll just be flying about in your serpent form as the “Long Mover” and enjoying the scenery, hopefully discovering purpose in the process.
Hohokum is being developed in collaboration with artist Richard Hogg and SCE Santa Monica (which is rumoured to be revealing a new God of War at E3 2014). Are you looking forward to it? Let us know what your thoughts are on Hohokum thus far in the comments.
