Hollow Knight Fix For Frame Stuttering Coming “Next Day or So”

If all goes well that is.

Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight released earlier this week, which kind of went unnoticed with all the Nintendo Switch news that’s been floating about. The Metroidvania-esque title has been praised for its solid mechanics and gorgeous visual style but has similarly been criticized for its performance.

This is due to frame stutters which tend to affect the performance at key intervals. Though the developer was working on a fix for the same, it hasn’t specified when it will be going live until now. On Twitter, it stated that the fix should be coming in the “Next day or so if all goes well!”

Other issues currently plaguing Hollow Knight include controller support issues, random bugs and other annoyances. The game does currently have a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with 521 reviews.
