Deep Silver has revealed its next major AAA title for next-gen consoles with Homefront: The Revolution. Co-published with Crytek, the game will release in 2015 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Check out the first trailer above.

Homefront: The Revolution will see you waging war against the Korean People’s Army to take back Philadelphia, which is now a police state full of surveillance drones and armoured patrols. In the absence of overwhelming force, you’ll need to rely on guerrilla warfare, improvised weapons and recruiting fellow soldiers to overcome the enemy.

Hasit Zala, Game Director at Crytek, stated that, “Homefront: The Revolution stands out from the crowd by immersing players in a world where they’ll feel emotionally compelled to fight for their freedom. We’re very excited to work with Deep Silver and deliver an experience that underlines Crytek’s commitment to quality whilst tapping into the huge potential we saw when we first acquired the Homefront IP.”

CEO of Deep Silver/Koch Media Dr. Klemens Kundratitz added that, “Crytek has an outstanding track record of creating AAA action games. Homefront is a fascinating IP with huge global potential. With Crytek`s technical pedigree and Deep Silver´s publishing expertise, we will take the IP to new heights.”

Homefront: The Revolution will also support four player online co-op and allow you and your friends to form a Resistance cell to bring down the enemy. Check out screenshots for the game below.
