#1. THUNDERJAW

Horizon: Zero Dawn

This one was kind of an obvious pick. Thunderjaws are perhaps one of the most instantly recognizable machines in Horizon Zero Dawn, owing to their excellent t-rex inspired design, but on top of their imposing presence and size, they also have a sizeable range of attacks. Canons, a disc launcher, and laser attacks present major threats from afar, while devastating trampling attacks, tail swipes, and a “bite” attack, so to speak, also make it a deadly machine when facing it up-close. Whether or not one of the new machines introduced in Forbidden West will dethrone it remains to be seen, but for now, the Thunderjaw remains the best of the best Horizon machines.
