Humankind

Humankind was, at one point, meant to be with us later this month. However, it simply was not to be, and the game suffered another high profile delay to later in 2021. Regardless, that isn’t stopping Sega from marketing the interesting looking strategy game, and today’s word is diplomacy.

A new video was released as part of the Feature Focus series that’s been highlighting various aspects of the game, such as how claiming territory and expanding cities will work. Today we got a look at how the power of diplomacy can be a key feature of victory. It tends not to be highlighted much in these types of games, with more focus generally on resource management. Humankind is hoping to create something of a story behind the conflict, with many different functions that you can use to both find allies as well as crush foes. Check it out below.

Humankind will release August 17th exclusively on PC.
