Hungry Giraffe Now Available for iPhone as Free to Play Title

The giraffes are back, and they're not screwing around this time.

Laughing Jackal must be laughing all the way to the bank, since their PS Mini and first ever Playstation Mobile title scored 100,000 downloads worldwide, besides enjoying good critical success. However, they’re far from resting on their laurels and have announced Hungry Giraffe will be arriving on the iPhone as a free to play game, supported by in-app purchases, on November 14th.

Considering it’s a cutesy game in a world full of them, it’s nice to see Laughing Jackal add some new features.

Some of these include online leaderboards which let you test your skills against other Hungry Giraffe players worldwide, Achievements, Worldwide Calorie Counter which keeps track of all the calories eaten by every single player, an all-new store menu, a new Angel Feather powerup which save you from certain death (each download giving you 5 Angel Feathers before you have to buy your own), new upgrades for negating poison, obtaining more boost from low-calorie foods, store more Hard Hats, and much more.

Check out the initial launch trailer for Hungry Giraffe to see it in action.
