Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Taking place 100 years before The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild means that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity can play around with familiar faces. A young version of Impa, who’s playable and unleashes various Sheikah techniques in battle, has already been showcased. But the newest trailer offers some other intriguing NPCs in younger form (along with the King of Hyrule). Check it out below.

Yes, Robbie and Purah are here, looking younger but no less enthusiastic than in Breath of the Wild. The Sheikah researchers are responsible for discovering the Sheikah Slate, which can be seen in the trailer. With the Camera Rune being operational before the Calamity, it’s likely that players will be able to snap pictures here.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is out on November 20th for the Nintendo Switch. Developed by Omega Force, it’s a Musou-style title with tons of enemies to hack, slash, bash and so on. Along with Link, all four of the Champions – Daruk, Mipha, Revali and Urbosa – are also playable. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
