Dynasty Warriors much? Very much.

En route to its Nintendo Direct presentation for the game where new information will be revealed, Nintendo has released another character trailer for their upcoming hack and slash action title Hyrule Warriors. This time it’s Impa being shown with a spear and the Dynasty Warriors influence has never been as apparent as it is now.

Impa can rapidly slice up enemies using the spear or she can initialize various special attacks, which include summoning six oversized blades to clamp up on an area of enemies like a bear-trap. You can also launch a single devastating attack from the skies or trigger a magical explosion to decimate foes. Like Link and Zelda with their various items, there will be plenty of potential for havoc in Hyrule Warriors.

Hyrule Warriors will release this month for Japan on the Wii U while North America and European players will need till mid-September for the same.
