Hyrule Warriors Trailer Showcases Sheik, Darunia, Entire Cast

The heroes of Hyrule are showcased in all their glory.

We’ve been covering the various characters that you can play as Nintendo’s Hyrule Warriors, taking on the role of Zelda, Link, Fi and many more from across the game’s history. A new trailer for the hack and slash title has been released by Nintendo and showcases every single character on the roster. Yes, that includes Sheik, Darunia and Princess Ruto who are shown in action for the first time. Check it out above.

Sheik’s abilities again rely on her agility and quickness though there’s plenty of magic on display (obviously) while Darunia relies on brute strength and an oversized Megaton Hammer to defeat foes. We also get to see the non-combat aspects of the game which aren’t as in-depth as traditional Zelda titles but serve as decent breaks between the action.

Hyrule Warriors will release in September for the Wii U in North America and Europe. It will be out in Japan next month though so stay tuned.
