Immortality

During the PC Gaming Show, Half Mermaid Productions’ narrative FMV title Immortality has finally received a release date. It’s out on July 26th for Xbox Series X/S (as a timed console exclusive) and PC via Steam and GOG along with launching day one on Game Pass. Check out the latest trailer below.

As an interactive movie trilogy, Immortality focuses on three fictional films with actor Marissa Marcel. Within the game’s story, none of these movies has ever been released while Marcel herself went missing. As a result, a character named “Barlow” (no doubt referencing director Sam Barlow) must attempt to solve this mystery.

This involves examining each film, matching different characters and shots together. Whether it approaches the brilliance of Barlow’s first game, Her Story, remains to be seen. Immortality will also be coming to additional platforms in the future so stay tuned for more details on the same in the coming months.
