When announcing Immortals at Aveum at The Game Awards in December, developer Ascendant Studios described it as a single player groundbreaking shooter that would trade guns with magic and a fantasy setting, though further details on the game have been few and far between since then. That will soon be changing though.

Ascendant Studios has confirmed that Immortals of Aveum will get its full official reveal later this week, on April 13.

Promising “an action-packed campaign with a magic twist”, the developer has also shown a sneak peak of the upcoming reveal, where game director and CEO Bret Robbins – who has previously served as creative director on the original Dead Space, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Call of Duty: WW2 – speaks about how he first got the idea that would go on to give birth to Immortals of Aveum.

Immortals of Aveum is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A recent leak claimed the game will launch on July 20, so there’s a chance that launch date gets officially announced along with the full reveal later this week.
