In Blue Shift, if you enable the third person, the model is used was Gordon, not Barney.
This was quite a shocker in terms of recycling models of previous games, but I guess we shouldn’t be surprised, given that Half Life Blue Shift was released a couple of years after Half Life. But it still was a hilarious revelation that the developers used a model of Gordon freeman rather that make a new model of Barney Calhoun in Half Life Blue Shift. Oh well as they say, ignorance is bliss.
