White Forest” is diametrically opposed to the name “Black Mesa”.
It’s not a coincidence that White Forest was entirely connected to Black Mesa, but the names were diametrically opposed to each other. The significance for the name was that Black Mesa represented manipulation, power and chaos, whereas White Forest represented a new hope, and variable for changes, as well as getting back control of earth, through the brilliant minds of the human species.
