Not many people may have picked up on the consoling couple who have made an appearance in every game since Half Life 2; they have become a sort of a running meme. For those who are unaware The Consoling Couple is a couple of husband and wife are seen through the Half-Life 2 games story. In their first appearance, if the player stares at them long enough, the man may impulsively and angrily ask the player to leave.
