The gravity gun is an awesome weapon no doubt, and it probably changed the gaming industry as to what the possibilities are in terms of the physics engine in gaming. However the Gravity gun in E3 2003 demo had a different feel and look rather than what was actually shown in the final gameplay. The gravity gun had some sort of ray coming out it, when lifting things up, but in the final gameplay it seems like the ray was omitted out, maybe because they wanted realism.
