Industry Developers React To Xbox One’s Kinect-Less SKU

Ever since Microsoft announced the Kinect-less version of Xbox One along with a price slash of $100, several industry professionals have reacted to this latest move by the Redmond based company.

James Stevenson who is the Community and Marketing Lead at Insomniac Games believes that this is a great option. Great for fans to have more choices. personally I use my kinect every single day with by XB1. super useful. I use my Kinect on a daily basis with XB1. Incredibly useful for going to exactly what you want. But, people getting more options is great too. For 399 you get access to the awesome XB1 library, the media/TV integration, apps. Good deal.”

Jon Shiring who is a programmer for Titanfall is all for it. “Happy about $399 more than anything else – I’m just excited for more people to get to play our game,” he tweeted.

Mark Rein: Vice President and Co-Founder of Epic Games praised Phil Spencer for the way he has handled the game’s division ever since he took over. “Way to go @XboxP3 – As expected – smarter decisions happening thanks to Phil Spencer being in charge.”
