According to the Game Informer‘s cover story of Infamous: Second Son it has been confirmed that the game will be launching in time of PlayStation 4’s release date which is Holiday 2013. Feast your eyes on the juicy details of Infamous: Second Son down below:

You play as Delsin Rowe who’s a 24-year-old Native American street artist with a hate against the government. As Rowe you will have an ability to control smoke (through the use of the DualShock 4 touchpad), and you will be able to power from enemies know as the Department of Unified Protection.

DUP is a branch of a government whose main priority is to control ‘bio-terrorists’. Bio-terrorist is the new name for ‘conduits’ in Infamous: Second Son.

Smoke will be Rowe’s main weapon, he’ll be able to create and use smoke projectiles, smoking fireballs and even do acrobatic maneuvers like the smoke-dash. He may also use smoke to his advantage and confuse the enemy A.I using smoke clouds. Players will be able to use chimneys and destroyed cars to replenish their smoke stock.

The game is set in a city that’s located in Seattle and Rowe will be able to travel through the air ducts as part of the traversal gameplay mechanic. The developers have stated that it’s not an exact copy of the city.

Will you be buying Infamous: Second Son on the day that you get your PlayStation 4? Let us know in the comments below.
