You see that picture up there? That is apparently a sneak peak of outspoken game designer Cliff Bleszinski’s new project. The former Epic Games designer, behind many of that company’s biggest successes, including the seminal Gears of War trilogy on the Xbox 360, and the company’s popular Unreal Engine 3 software, seems to be teasing his newest game on his Twitter feed.

What can this newest project be? It looks pretty nice. The art looks highly stylized and organic (which makes for a nice break from the dull, dreary graphics of Gears of War), it almost has a Skyrim/Lord of the Rings-esque vibe to it overall, actually. Or it would, if it wasn;t for that soldier over there in the picture. He’s the one incongruous element in this entire thing.

Of course, a war game set in a beautiful, almost surreal place like that would be rather different from everything else on the market right now. Plus given Bleszinski’s expertise with great graphics, we can be sure the technology would do the art justice. How many of you are looking forward to this new title, or are at least interested in learning more about it?
