The upcoming Yakuza spinoff, Judgment, has been getting a lot of English-based marketing for its upcoming worldwide release. We’ve seen a lot of information about how the localization staff tried to keep the game’s portrayal of Japanese culture intact, as well as English-speaking actors who are involved in the game. Now the game’s developer, RGG Studios, has showed off some more of what Yakuza games are known for beyond their gritty storytelling- and that’s the quirky side stuff. In this case, an unlikely combo of drones and food.
As you can see from the official Twitter below, the developers have posted a couple of clips. One shows off the game’s drone, named Pidgeon (seriously), who helps you discover more of the city and take photos, while eventually taking part in drone racing side games. You can also see another clip based around a subject Yakuza fans will know well- food. Like the Yakuza games, Judgment has a lot of variety in real life food dishes you can partake in that give various bonuses and buffs.
Judgment releases exclusively for PlayStation 4 on June 25th.

When we said there are whole new ways to discover Kamurocho, we weren't just talking about a new main character.
