The launch trailer for Just Cause 3 is here with the game releasing tomorrow for PS4, Xbox One and PC. A community contest was arranged last month to get fans to make their own launch trailer with a promise of $5,000 in prizes including a 6th gen Intel Core PC. With 1200 entries coming in, it was CoolTwinSkittles with his “Explosion Rap Trailer” that ultimately won the day. Check it out below and remember – it’s about explosions.

Explaining its choice, Square Enix stated that, “Choosing a winner was extremely hard, but the energy, humor, and general quality of our chosen winner cemented him as the panel’s favorite.”

It’s hard to argue with that choice – CoolTwinSkittles’ trailer walks a fine line between over-the-top and unique without becoming outright annoying. Opinions will differ of course.

What are your thoughts on the Explosion Rap trailer? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for the launch of Just Cause 3 tomorrow.
