Another announcement that was leaked ahead of time, Just Cause 4 was announced at Microsoft’s E3 show today. The new trailer continued the series’ long tradition of having EXPLOSIONS, but also, this time, it has tornadoes- which, yes, series protagonist Rico Rodriguez will be squaring against a lot in the new game.

The game is set in the fictional South American country of Solis, and sees Rico go against The Black Hand”, a band of mercenaries who are the world’s most powerful private army. Taking those, and the series’ penchant for explosions, as well as the array of traversal options it offers, and mix them with the high speed wind storms and tornadoes, and… you have something that’s truly going to be bombastic here.

The good news? You won’t have to wait long for this game either way. The game is confirmed to be coming out this year, on December 4, in keeping with the series’ traditional December release window.
