Just Cause 4 “Eye of the Storm” Trailer Features All Kinds of Insanity

Rico has his hands full against new foes and violent forces of nature.

Among the several third-party titles that received new gameplay trailers at Microsoft’s X018 event was Avalanche Studios’ Just Cause 4. The trailer is called “Eye of the Storm”, and for good reason – if main man Rico Rodriguez isn’t busy being attacked by lightning, then he’s being dragged into tornadoes. Check out the trailer below, which also provides some set-up for the story.

Long story short, Rico heads to Solis to learn more about his father’s death. In the process, he battles the Black Hand militia and its leader Gabriela. Solis has quite the collection of sights to see, and it serves as a playground for destruction. As the trailer showcases, the various forces of nature are capable of shaking up the dynamic for an entire battlefield.

Just Cause 4 is out on December 4th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Like its predecessor, there will be post-launch content in the form of an expansion pass. Dubbed “Demons, Dare Devils and Danger“, it will include three DLC packs, each with new enemies and objectives to fulfil.
