Ubisoft has released a launch trailer for Just Dance 2014, which releases today in Europe for various platforms. It shows off – what else? – plenty of virtual dancing to famous tracks that some of us wouldn’t be caught dead listening to. The track selection spans over 45 hit numbers including “Applause” by Lady Gaga, “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke Ft. Will Pharrell, “Kiss You” by One Direction, “Get Lucky” by Daft Punk Ft. Pharrell Williams, “Starships” by Nicki Minaj and even “Roar” by Katy Perry, which will be sold as free DLC when the game launches.

Songwriter/producer Dr. Luke, who composed Perry’s “Roar” chimed in about Just Dance 2014, stating that, “Just Dance has been able to take my music to a more interactive level and connect millions of fans with the songs in a way that brings them into the actual experience. I look forward to watching people dance to our music in the game for years to come”, says famous s, who notably composed and produced Katy Perry’s “Roar” included in Just Dance 2014.

Just Dance 2014 launches on October 4th in the UK and October 8th in North America for PlayStation 3, Wii, Wii U and Xbox 360. It will also release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this November.
