Ember Lab finally provided a release date for its 3D action adventure Kena: Bridge of Spirits. It’s out on August 24th for PS4, PS5 and PC. In addition, a new trailer was also released, showcasing all kinds of new gameplay. Check it out below.

The trailer showcases a bit more of Kena’s combat prowess. In addition to attacking enemies with her staff, she can also turn it into a bow and fire arrows (with time slowing down as she leaps into the air). Small spirit companions called the Rot can also come in handy and players will be able to grow them in order to manipulate the environment.

As a spirit guide, Kena will venture throughout an unknown land and attempt to assist spirits in passing on while solving the mystery of a ruined village. One such spirit is seemingly trapped and turned into a hulking monster, which she must defeat. The trailer ends with her donning a fox mask, its function unknown. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
