Xbox One exclusive fighter Killer Instinct will be starting Season 2 today in the United States, adding two new characters in the form of TJ Combo and Maya. Check out the launch trailer for the same above.

While TJ Combo is a boxer who juggles enemies using his feets (and occasionally his feet), Maya is an Amazon-esque warrior that dual wields weapons to fight foes. That’s not all – the visuals have been updated to 900p resolution while new moves have been added to existing characters.

The season will have eight characters, eight different costumes and 16 accessory packs by the time the season is fully complete. There will be a new free character cycled each week to help you decide.

If you’re so inclined, you can pick up each DLC individually or you can buy them all together. There’s also the Ultra Edition which adds all content including characters and items from Season 1. What are your thoughts on the second season of Killer Instinct, especially under the direction of developer Iron Galaxy? Let us know in the comments.
