XSeed Games will be publishing Grasshopper Manufacture’s next Suda 51 directed action game Killer is Dead in North America. And despite the presence of sexed up women, Gigolo glasses and gallons of blood, vice president Ken Berry stated it “can appeal to a wide group of people, not just our usual core audience that mainly focuses on RPGs.”

Speaking to [a]list, Berry stated that “The key will be getting the additional retail exposure at the mass market retailers like Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Target, which is essential to branching out to the more casual gamers that may not closely follow gaming news and upcoming releases.”

Killer is Dead will be releasing in fall this year, and focuses on the adventures of Mondo Zappa, who hunts down cybernetically enhanced criminals and takes on the notorious Victor on behalf of his agency (did we mention a part of takes places on the moon?). It will release for PS3 and Xbox 360.
