Zed is undead.

Killing Floor 2 is coming along in development and Tripwire Interactive has released a new trailer the game from the perspective of Horzine Biotech. Meant as a sort of identification video for the security forces, it identifies the different Zeds you’ll come into contact with in the game.

The Zeds in question are the Clot, your average zombie; the Slasher, which features sharp protrusions to poke players; the Crawler, a spider-like mutated Zed that can travel through crawl spaces at high speeds; the ambiguous Cyst; and the tank-like Fleshpound. These Zeds are causing panic and havoc in Paris so you’ll have your work cut out for you in disposing of them. To make things better, Tripwire has confirmed that the video represents in-engine footage.

Killing Floor 2 will be out on PC and SteamOS though a more definitive release date is still incoming. Stay tuned for more details and let us know what you think of the game in the comments.
