War is their business – and the mercenaries that make up the world of Killzone: Mercenary are making a killing. The PlayStation Vita exclusive is set to release on September 4th for Europe and September 10th for North America, but until then, check out the first 15 minutes of the single-player campaign above.

Killzone: Mercenary takes place after the first game and follows events that take place throughout the trilogy. You play as a mercenary who takes up jobs with both the ISA and Helghast, advancing higher and higher by earning more cash to purchase new weapons and equipment. This includes better guns like the flamethrower and sniper rifle along with remote controlled drones and air strikes.

The game is already receiving good impressions for its gameplay and mechanics including use of the rear and front touch panels. How will it pan out on release and will it improve the PlayStation Vita’s sales? We’ll find out next month.
