After its gameplay teaser at Opening Night Live, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has received a proper showcase spanning over 25 minutes. It follows Henry of Skalitz as he travels around, interacting with characters and making choices with profound consequences. Check it out below.
One quest sees Henry looking for Raynek, eventually discovering him in sewage behind a tavern. He can pull him out and grab the bow from his corpse, which can be delivered to other NPCs. Alternatively, Henry can keep it for himself, engaging in combat and striking them down. A non-violent solution is also possible if you part with some coin.
Another quest involves finding a woman’s husband who’s looking to hang an innocent man and exact revenge for his abuse. Speech checks appear to be in effect for some dialogue choices – fail, and it’s a fight to the death. Overall, the combat looks less janky than the original and finding the right direction to swing your blade seems easier.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 launches on February 11th, 2025, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details as Gamescom gets underway.
