Kingdom Hearts Re:coded Coming This Fall

Posted By | On 20th, Jul. 2010

The next DS instalment in the Kingdom Hearts saga, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, is due this fall in Japan, Square Enix have confirmed.

This will be the second DS Kingdom Hearts game, after last year’s Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, which released to mixed response from the audiences and critics.

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded is the remake of a mobile Kingdom Hearts game released only in Japan. The game, however, has been given a full makeover, including better 3D graphics, based on 358/2 Days’ graphical engine, new orchestrated sound, more gameplay functions and added functionality, all of which takes advantage of the DS’ added power and unique capabilities. The DS remake is being developed by H.a.n.d, developers of the previous DS title.

Square Enix has previously hinted at a western release for the game. However, so far, we haven’t got any specifics. Watch this space for more info.
