Leaked through a Microsoft Store listing earlier today, THQ Nordic and Kaiko have officially announced Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. The remaster will release on August 18th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It will retail for $39.99, but there will also be a Collector’s Edition for $109.99, which includes five artworks, an Alyn Shir collectible statue, the OST, and a key chain.

Along with the base game, the remaster will include the “Teeth of Naros” and “Legend of Dead Kel” DLC. There aren’t any details about the extent of the remastering workm but one can expect “improved graphical fidelity”. From the screenshots revealed thus far, textures and lighting look better, while the resolution has been bumped up.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning launched back in 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. It received praise for its open world setting, heaps of content, and combat mechanics. Despite publisher 38 Games going bankrupt shortly after the game released, THQ Nordic currently owns the rights to the IP.
