Game Overview:
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a fantasy open world action-RPG developed by 38 Studios and Big Huge Games and published by EA.
A remaster of the game, titled Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, was developed by Kaiko and published by THQ Nordic, launching in September 2020.
The careers page on the German developer's website reveals that it's working on "an original game based on a high profile THQ Nordic IP".
The action RPG's remaster has received a new expansion, which brings new weapons and armour, story content, mechanics, and much more.
Battle Niskaru and the Chaos forces one more time in new environments and new Chaos dungeons. New weapons and items also included.
KAIKO also confirmed that the development team is in the last stages of polishing and will look to wrap up in "the next couple of weeks."
PlayStation Plus subscribers get access to six free games in a bumper month, with three of them being PSVR titles.
As has been the trend for several months running, the November lineup for PlayStation Plus seem to have leaked once more.
The full game will be available on cartridge with no download required.
Take the re-release on the go and wait for the new expansion.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning debuts with one-fourth the sales of the original.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is a disappointing remaster, but the game itself is as great as ever.
