You knew you wanted it and now it’s confirmed – Knack will be getting a sequel. Knack 2 debuted at PlayStation Experience with co-op gameplay being the prime focus.

And to be fair, it doesn’t look all that bad. We got to see quite a bit of beat ’em up gameplay, platforming and much more. If the first Knack seemed a little “slow”, then Knack 2 comes across as faster paced and more action-heavy. Then again, the first Knack didn’t seem all that bad until critics actually got their hands on it.

Will Knack 2 also be designed by Mark Cerny, better known as the chief system architect for PS4? That remains to be seen but we’re interested to see what direction it goes in.

Expect to see it in 2017 for PS4 and stay tuned for more information from PlayStation Experience in the coming hours. You can let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
