Knack TGS Trailer Reveals Prophecies, Explosions and Goblins

Also fighting. Lots of fighting.

Mark Cerny’s Knack saw a new trailer being revealed at the Tokyo Game Show, which essentially provided a rough, anime-esque outline to the protagonist and the enemies he faces. Of course, what would it be without a little indication of ancient prophecies related to our hero? Check out the trailer above.

As Knack, players can essentially gather more parts to make him bigger and stronger. One of the abilities showcased was a high impact cluster-bomb wherein Knack’s parts immediately reformed into his figure. Knack is also seen tussling with a big, mechanized Goblin and taking down air carriers. Good stuff overall, but we’ll see how it fares as a complete experience.

Knack will be one of the PS4’s launch titles, and will release on November 15th in North America and November 29th in Europe with a Japanese release set for February 22nd 2014. It will release in Japan as part of a special package wherein consumers will receive it free with the PS4.
