As of today the upcoming PS4 launch exclusive, Knack has an accompanying app available on the Apple iTunes Store. From the looks of things the app will be a series of mini games with as Knack-centric theme. According to the description on the Apple iTunes Page, Knack’s Quest will allow players to collect items throughout the course of the game which can later be applied to the PS4 version of the game once it’s released.

The main game, Knack will release in tune with the upcoming PlayStation 4 and will come out November 15th in the US. This accompanying app is now available across iPhone, iPad and the iPad touch.

In contrast to the app, Kanck proper will be a pure action game which focuses on moving the maing character, Knack, through different environments, having him confront different enemies, and most importantly, having him learn new abilities. Kanck hopes to evoke some of the classic later PS1 and early PS2 action adventure charm that we found in both Crash Bandicoot and the Jak and Jak and Daxter series.
