Kojima Productions

Leave it to Hideo Kojima to tease fans with something special over the weekend only to subvert expectations. The Metal Gear Solid creator teased some Death Stranding information for San Diego Comic Con and released a video of the Kojima Productions logo intro that will be featured at the start of each of its games.

Not exactly earth-shattering news as far as Death Stranding is concerned but Kojima did note that the mascot in the video, Ludens, is actually modeled after him and not Norman Reedus. He further reiterated that Ludens has nothing to do with Death Stranding and that different figures and toys will be available for fans to purchase soon.

Death Stranding is in development for PS4 and PC. A concept video of sorts was seen at Sony’s E3 2016 presser but Kojima noted that the team was still looking for an engine to develop the game on. Contrary to expectations, Death Stranding will be an action game unlike any we’ve seen before. Stay tuned for more details – this is one of those long-term projects.
