Coming off the excellent success of Tomb Raider, which managed to sell a million units in 48 hours besides topping charts in the UK and holding off other efforts, Square Enix has recently registered a trademark for “Lara Croft: Reflections”.

Described as “computer game software” the trademark also encompasses “electronic games for mobile phones; downloadable computer games software supplied online by means of multi-media electronic broadcast or network transmission; publications in electronic form or other data provided by means of multi-media electronic broadcast or network transmission; computer discs, CD-ROMs, DVDs, tapes and cassettes bearing computer game software and/or feature film entertainment; video game apparatus; films; cinematographic films; television films; video films.”

So while we can’t indeed confirm this to be the sequel to the recently released reboot from Crystal Dynamics, it’s plainly obvious that we more Lara Croft incoming.
