Layers of Fear

Layers of Fear, the latest title in Bloober Team’s horror adventure series, is out this Summer. After an extensive walkthrough with the Writer, the cinematic intro is available, showcasing her journey to the Lighthouse. References to the first two games, from a poster for a cruise ship to a covered frame, are showcased. Check it out below.

Previously titled Layers of Fears, the follow-up is the “definitive way” to experience the first two games. It also includes The Final Note DLC, providing a new perspective, which appears to be from the Artist’s wife in the first game. How does the Writer tie all of this together? Time will tell.

Ray tracing, 4K resolution, Lumen and high-dynamic range lighting are all supported, thanks to Unreal Engine 5. Bloober Team also confirmed the release of a PC demo via Steam on May 15th. Layers of Fear releases in June for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
