Bloober Team’s Layers of Fear is nearly upon us. The early access horror game will be releasing in all of its glory to PS4, Xbox One and PC gamers, offering arguably one of the scariest experiences in recent memory. Check out the PS4 trailer below to get an idea of the game and why it will terrify you.

Layers of Fear puts you in the role of a 19th century painter who may or may not be losing his mind en route to finishing his masterpiece. Though essentially a walking simulator, it presents an incredibly compelling story laced with mystery. Plus, the scares just keep getting creative. One minute you’re dealing with paintings melting. The next you’re staring into an infinite loop of eyeballs.

Layers of Fear will release on February 16th for current gen platforms. What are your thoughts on the gameplay trailer below and will you purchase the game? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information in the coming week.
