Celebrating the tenth anniversary of League of Legends, developer Riot Games announced a slew of new projects. It unveiled its fighting game, codenamed Project L which sees different LoL Champions battling it. Check out the Twitch VOD here – it sees Ahri and Darius battling it out.

Despite officially revealing it, Riot Games’ Tom Cannon said that it will be going dark for “a while after this, so please don’t expect anything soon.” Cannon was the co-founder of Radiant Entertainment which was acquired by Riot Games to work on the fighter. Of course, it also has something completely unrelated to LoL coming soon: A competitive first person shooter.

Codenamed Project A, it’s a completely new IP. Riot Games didn’t give too many details on it but revealed that it was placing anti-cheat systems at “the forefront of our development” as per executive producer Anna Donlon. Project A is also early in development and won’t receive any new details for quite a long time. Still, it’s interesting to see the MOBA studio branching out in so many different directions – including the recent announcement of League of Legends: Wild Rift for consoles and mobiles.
