LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight_02

After recently going gold and with roughly two weeks before launch, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has received its launch trailer. Suffice to say that if you’re a fan of the Caped Crusader, be it in films, comic books or TV shows, there’s a lot to love, starting with Seal’s “Kiss From a Rose,” which was used in Batman Forever.

Familiar villains like the Joker, Ra’s al Ghul, Bane, and Mr Freeze (who pilots a giant mech) feature throughout, alongside the reveal of Poison Ivy, who brought a two-headed plant dragon to the party. However, there are also recreations of iconic scenes, from the Joker dressed as a nurse leaving Gotham Hospital in The Dark Knight to Henri Ducard’s speech to Bruce Wayne on becoming “more than just a man” from Batman Begins.

We also get some quick peeks at Catwoman, Nightwing, Commissioner Gordon, Robin, and Batgirl, who are all playable characters with their own unique skills and outfits. And what would the trailer be without Batman pulling off the classic Akira slide on the Batcycle?

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight launches on March 22nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Head here to learn more about the surprisingly heavy PC requirements or check out our feature for tons of details.
