NEOWIZ has announced that Souls-like action RPG Lies of P and its recent expansion, Overture, have sold three million copies. The latter launched about two weeks ago as a shadow drop at the Summer Game Fest showcase.

Lies of P was released in September 2023 for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, alongside Game Pass. It sold over one million copies within its first month and would surpass seven million players by March 2024. Of course, the current sales figure doesn’t include Game Pass subscribers, so the total number of players may be even higher.

A sequel is currently in development and could leverage Unreal Engine 5, according to a job listing. NEOWIZ hasn’t provided any details on what it could offer, but it did confirm that Overture’s conclusion isn’t connected to the base game’s ending.
