Life is Strange Remastered

The Deck Nine-developed Life is Strange: Remastered Collection is just a handful of days away from its imminent release (barring the Nintendo Switch release, of course) and we have just got a good new look at a solid 6 minutes of gameplay in its latest trailer. Check it out below.

The trailer showcases plenty, including the first game’s protagonist Max coming to grips with her time-bending powers as she walks down the hallways of her school in Arcadia Bay and continues up until she stumbles upon Chloe in the bathroom. It’s a scene from early on in the first game, where Max essentially first stumbles into her powers. The trailer ends with a few random shots of the game’s updated environments as well.

The remaster has a much cleaner presentation than the original, with environments having much better lighting for starters, plus facial textures and animations also getting a much-needed uplift. It’s not the most radical of changes, which is to be expected, since it’s a remaster and not a remake, but the improvements here are certainly appreciable, to say the least.

Life Is Strange: Remastered Collection releases for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Stadia on February 1.
