Square Enix Europe has posted a new video via Twitter for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and has revealed that players will be able to outfit protagonist Lightning in over 80 costumes. There’s certainly a strong range and depth fpr the same. Check out the video above.

You’ll notice several callbacks to past Final Fantasy protagonists including Cloud Strife and Tidus, not to mention Lightning’s original Final Fantasy XIII outfit (along with the classic Blazefire Saber). Will this all indeed help Lightning meet the end of the world in style? That remains to be seen.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is billed as the final game in the series, and sees Lightning return as the protagonist to save the world from destruction. She’ll be racing against the clock and fulfilling various objectives to ensure the same, which includes confronting her formerly ally Snow Villiers. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII releases on February 12th 2014 for North America and February 14th 2014 for Europe on PS3 and Xbox 360.
