Kicking off its RGG Summit Fall 2023 showcase, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced that Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth would launch on January 26th, 2024. It’s coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. A new video is also available at around the 22-minute mark, showcasing various story scenes, though there wasn’t much real-time gameplay. Check it out below.

It kicks off with Ichiban Kasuga (thankfully wearing pants this time) explaining about Japan while being filmed. Kazuma Kiryu is in the background with a boom mic, and we’re transported to before the main story. Life seems good for Kasuga until he gets a phone call, sending him into a panic. After meeting Jo Sawashiro from Yakuza: Like a Dragon, it’s off to Hawaii.

Unfortunately, he’s ambushed in his cab and wakes up on the beach with no clothes. After narrowly avoiding jail, he runs into Kiryu and the two work together. A new casino, run-ins with the local mafia and a reunion with party members Koichi Adachi, Yu Nanba, Saeko Mukoda and from the previous game are also showcased. Of course, Goro Majima, Taiga Saejima and Shun Akiyama also reunite with Kiryu.

Karaoke returns while new activities like surfing and paragliding are revealed. It also seems that Kiryu is suffering from cancer, coughing up blood in one instance. Stay tuned for more details from the RGG Summit as it progresses.
