Little Devil Inside Gets Details On Combat, Traversal, And More In New Trailer

Get an extended, if still somewhat vague, look at what to do at the indie title that was re-revealed over 1 year ago.

It was over a year ago when Sony officially unveiled the PS5 with a selection of various games. One of those was Little Devil Inside. It was re-revealed (after being announced as a very different looking Kickstarter title in 2015) with an interesting and stylish looking trailer that piqued a lot of people’s interest. However, the game vanished after that, going radio silent for over a year. Today, as promised earlier, we got a little more information on what to expect, though a lot of the finer details still remain something of a mystery.

Featured in the latest State of Play, we got an extended look at the game. Here we got to see the unique traversal and map system, where you zoom out to see miniatures on a map and then zoom in for certain vignettes as well as battles. The combat system looks interesting with a combination of attacking and dodging with the ability to toss enemies impaled on your blade. We also get a peek at some survival elements, such as cooking and making a fire. Despite a decent look, though, there is still a lot unknown here as it’s unclear what exactly the plot of the game is outside you being a mercenary, but that will probably be covered more in time.

Little Devil Inside has been announced for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. It’s due out in 2022.
